Check in and breakfast
Break through dance performance
Break Through- Fight, Flight, Faith: In this session the women will learn the definition of break through. They will identify the areas they need a break through in and what they are willing to do to get their break through.
Time: 11:30am- 12:30pm
It’s time to get your shift right! The women will learn to shift their mind set from operating from a victim’s perspective to a victory perspective. Lessons will also be on how to train their thinking to be more positive so as to attract positive energy.
Time: 12:30pm- 1:15pm
Social service and health fair, vendors, free facials, door prizes, massages, health screenings, one on one counseling, and much more. Fair ends at 5pm.
Lunch and video presentation
Time: 2:00pm- 3:00pm
Fighting words: In this session women will learn how to effectively communicate their as well as learn their rights, how to stand up against certain societal systems, as well as how to remove their selves out of difficult situations.
Women and Health: Hyacinth Foundation and Boston University’s Women’s Project will discuss the importance of sexual health and the topics- Love, Sex, and Choices.
Time: 4:00pm- 4:30pm
SISTA intervention presentation and closing
SESSION 2: THE AFTERHOUR SPECIAL
Time: 5:30pm- 6:30pm
Happy Hour: Networking event. Women will get a chance to mix and mingle over non-alcoholic cocktails, hors d’oeuvres , and music. Short de-stressor for women coming from work or going to work so that they can unwind before the next segment.
Time: 6:30pm- 7:30pm
Breaking through in Health: The number on wealth in life is health. Women will learn how to make healthier decisions because healthy is the new sexy.
Dinner is served

Ladies Night: In this session women will get the chance visit different stations to learn how to make their own jewelry, make their own body products, style their hair in different ways, and much more! This is also the time in which the women of honor will be honored. Free HIV and STD testing provided from 7:30pm-10:30pm

Jeloude 4 Womyn By Womyn, Essex County College, Hyacinth Foundation
Jeloude 4 Womyn by Womyn is a soon to be nonprofit organization that has been in existence for two years. The organization exists to be a catalyst for positive change in the community by providing women and teen girls of color with resources, skills, and positive programs geared towards: 1. Upliftment 2. Empowerment 3. Self efficacy 4. Community/international advocacy. The services provided by Jeloude are: annual female empowerment conference, holistic workshops, referrals, mentorship, educational/informational workshops. Workshops on: finances, career/business, education, relationships, health and wellness, global/international women’s relations, spirituality, and family planning. The 5 core women who established this organization are (from right to left): Stephanie Antoine, Joanne Antoine, Lorraine Lacroix, Marcdalene Jean, Jessica Elicin, and Francia Clermont.

Hyacinth Foundation is the first and largest AIDS service organization in New Jersey. Founded in 1985, is a not-for-profit, tax-exempt agency. Hyacinth provides client services in eight regional offices in six counties statewide. Services include individual client advocacy as well as hotline counseling for prevention, care and treatment, service referrals, professional and community education workshops, legal services and public policy advocacy. Hyacinth's 12 core programs include counseling and testing, prevention, syringe access, medical case management, treatment access and adherence counseling, legal advocacy, direct housing assistance, discharge planning, mental health and addictions counseling, support groups, community mobilization programs, and community and provider education.
