We are back for year 3 of the Dawn of Deadlifts! MM or FF teams - RX and intermediate divisions

About this event

Neuse River CrossFit is proud to be bringing you year 3 of the Dawn of Deadlifts with powered by MULE.

Get your homie and bring your best Halloween Costume!

Our event is family friendly and everyone is encouraged to get dressed up! We will have a costume contest during the mid day intermission! Our winner will receive 2 cases of Kill Cliff and 2 cases of Set Bars!

We will have 4 WODS and 1 Floater WOD:

WOD 1:

"Linda like"

Each team will be given 1 barbell and of their equipment needed to complete 4:00 minutes at each lift with 1:00 rest between each movement to set up barbell.

4:00 max reps bench press RX - 155/105 INT - 135/85

4:00 max reps deadlift RX - 225/155 INT 185/125

4:00 max reps power clean RX - 155/105 INT 135/85

Score is total weight moved - one athlete may lift at a time

WOD 2: (Floater)

"Flaming poo bag"

Sand bag ladder - all divisions start at same weight

M - 75/100/150/200

F 50/75/100/150

Each athlete will be given :90 at each bag weight with :30 rest between

YOU MUST LIFT EACH BAG 7 TIMES TO MOVE ON TO NEXT BAG

Score is combined weight of all bags moved with both athletes

WOD 3:

"Hell slide"

10 minute AMRAP - you go I go

50 M Sled pull - weights TBD

50 M sled drag

This workout will be performed as you go, then I go. You must complete an entire round before your partner can begin. Each 50M movement will be counted as 1 rep

WOD 4:

"Nope, don't want it"

400M partner run

40 front squats synchro RX 135/95 INT 95/65

This workout is performed with both athletes running and both athletes completing the front squats in synchronized fashion.

WOD 5:

"Yoke city"

1:00 Max distance yoke carry

RX - 1.5 BW

INT - 1.0 BW

This workout begins with your body weight or 1.5 bodyweight on the yoke - forward sliding will result in a 10M penalty - if you must stop simply set the yoke down. Score is total meters carried in 1 minute.
