On Saturday, March 24 the Yellow Cab Tavern is excited to welcome back Cincinnati's Dawg Yawp for a second show with Dayton's own Lioness and additional support from Human Cannonball. Doors open at 8pm and tickets are $9 in advance or $12 at the doors.
Tyler Randall and Rob Keenan are lifelong friends that attended Berklee together, only to return to their native Cincinnati to focus on the project. Their debut self-titled LP, released in 2016 on Old Flame Records, has generating national praise from NPR, WXPN, Consequence of Sound and beyond.
A cross section of some of Dayton's most beloved bands, Lioness features members of Captain of Industry, Motel Beds, Me & Mountains, Shesus, Ohio Casket, and many more. Together, the eleven piece create a driving and anthemic sound carried by the talent and experience of each member. Listen at https://lionessdayton.bandcamp.com
Human Cannonball's music ventures from joy-pop to heart-busting tear jerkers, and flat out rockers to abstract pieces. Lead by songwriter Jesse Remnant, the band delivers the power and passion each song deserves and shines a bright light through the heart of the Midwest.
