Davie County Cooperative Extension is excited to kick off 2020 with gardening classes for adults. We will talk about best practices for your vegetable garden, gardening with native plants, and gardening for pollinators.
Class 1: Vegetable Gardening, Wednesday 2/12 11:00 am to 12:00 pm
Topics include preparing your garden site, choosing the best vegetables to grow, and troubleshooting common problems.
Class 2: Vegetable Gardening, Tuesday 2/18 7:00 to 8:00 pm
Topics include preparing your garden site, choosing the best vegetables to grow, and troubleshooting common problems.
Class 3: Native Plants for the Home Landscape, Wednesday 3/11 11:00 am to 12:00 pm
Topics include how and why to garden with native plants, as well as some good native plant choices for this area.
Class 4: Native Plants for the Home Landscape, Thursday 3/19 7:00 to 8:00 pm
Topics include how and why to garden with native plants, as well as some good native plant choices for this area.
Class 5: Gardening for Pollinators, Wednesday 4/8 11:00 am to 12:00 pm
Topics include the best plants to grow for pollinators and the best ways to protect pollinators in the landscape.
