Born and bred in Brooklyn, New York, Dave Morris began developing his vocal style & songwriting craft at an early age. By the age of thirteen, the self taught multi-instrumentalist was already playing proficient piano and mimicking the soulful sounds of R&B that was being played in his home until he eventually found his own voice and sound.

Elements of Dave’s vocal influences like Marvin Gaye, Donny Hathaway, & Stevie Wonder are resplendent throughout his musical offerings.As fate would have it, he caught the ear of Stax music soul legend, William Bell, who signed Dave to his Wilbe Records label in 2011 & is the executive producer / co-producer for the Dave Morris full length debut release, “In & Out of Love” with “Tears Of Joy” being the lead single. “In & Out of Love” is distributed online via Digital Music Marketing (DMM) & distributed worldwide through Wilbe Productions network of distributors.
