You’re not going to want to miss experiencing this one-of-a-kind exhibition of the history and making process of David Mellor Design’s most iconic cutlery designs from the 1950s to today, illustrated through original sketches, technical drawings and flatware prototypes, and objects used in the factory ranging from moulding dies and polishing mops to cutlers trays.
Corin Mellor, son of David Mellor and creative director for the company, will be here to share the story of the company’s history, his experience growing up in the factory (seen in the image above, and built in a National Park!) and his process for taking the designs and company forward today, with Sarah Lonsdale, editor-at-large at Remodelista.
