Date Night on the Farm
BoysGrow is a nonprofit that focuses on mentoring Kansas City’s urban youth through agricultural entrepreneurship. As a part of their job at the farm, youth in the program host our events for guests participating in culinary prep, serving, and facilitating farm tours. One keynote speaker is chosen from the public speaking team to address the event by sharing his reflections and insights working at BoysGrow. (More about The Program)
The evening set at dusk will be sure to set a romantic tone for the night. Enjoy some of the best cuisine in Kansas City in support of our mission and organization and celebrate with our open bar. Be sure to stop by to say Hi to the goats and go on a farm tour while you're here

About the organizer
BoysGrow is a local nonprofit that uses farming and agriculture to teach entrepreneurship to Kansas City’s urban male youth. The program gives young men an opportunity to earn a paycheck while working on a functional farm. Our boys essentially run a small business, by selling their value-added products to local restaurants and grocery stores around town. Through BoysGrow, the young men learn critical vocational skills and experience an array of different potential careers including Agriculture, Culinary Arts, Construction and Sales. Today, BoysGrow produce is currently available in more than 30 Kansas City-area locations. www.boysgrow.com
