This course will enable participants to implement the most widely used Machine Learning algorithms for a range of real-world data sets. We will use Pandas and scikit-learn, the popular Python Data Science packages and show how to set these up on Cloud on Amazon Web Services.
We will take a handful of real-world examples through all the steps from data preparation to applying algorithms and evaluating their performance. These include Regression, Decision Trees, Clustering, Classification algorithms and algorithms for Natural Language Processing. Throughout we will focus on real world implementations and how to use these powerful tools to draw useful insights from often imperfect raw data.
Along the way, students will have assistance in preparing for the job search through resume review and interview preparation.
• AWS Setup
• Python refresher
• Cleaning and organizing data
• Decision Trees and Random forests
• Support Vector Machines
• Natural Language Processing
