Come join us for a riveting evening of cocktails and insightful conversations around adapting, complying and innovating in an ever-changing world of privacy and data security. Bringing together local tech founders, c-suite executives and in-house counsel, with a particularly warm welcome to women, LGBTQ and minority professionals, we’ll discuss what large businesses are doing to build resilient privacy compliance programs, methods for emerging companies to meet legal obligations without full time privacy counsel, and how architects are designing products with privacy at the forefront. This engaging program will include two brief presentations and a panel discussion, drinks & small bites, networking and plenty of time for questions.

Speakers:

Holly Gion is the Director of Data Privacy for Alaska Airlines, where she leads the Airlines’ privacy program and remains focused on designing strategies to protect critical information and mitigate risk. Holly has over 12 years of experience providing pragmatic, business-focused data protection guidance across various industries. She is a licensed attorney and certified information privacy professional (CIPP/US). Holly earned a J.D. from the Seattle University School of Law and B.A. from the University of Nebraska.

Drew Schuil is the Vice President of Global Business Development & EMEA Operations at Integris Software. For the last 19 years, he has held key leadership positions with enterprise software and cyber security companies. Prior to Integris, Drew was VP of Global Product Strategy at Imperva, a data centric audit and protection software firm, where he met with companies and spoke at industry events in 43 countries.

Panelists:

Harini Gokul is a global technology leader, an investor and an advocate for advancement of women in the workplace.

As a technology leader, Harini’s portfolio of experience spans business strategy and execution to accelerate cloud growth and customer transformation. Harini has built organizations and led global, multi-disciplinary teams to accelerate customer adoption of cloud services. Her focus areas include building trust in the cloud, driving global scale and delivering customer success.

Harini sponsors and invests in organizations and communities to accelerate the advancement of women in technology. She is an investor in the Female Founders Alliance and on the advisory board of Future of Us, an initiative dedicated to accelerating the advancement of women of color. Harini is an international speaker, focusing on diversity, equity and innovation in the 4th Industrial Revolution.

Erika Voss is the Business Information Security Officer at Salesforce. She has more than 20 years of experience in security, governance, risk compliance and privacy responsibilities. Erika frequently presents at conferences across the nation in a variety of industry verticals. She founded the Information System Security Association for Security Professionals (ISSA) Rainier Chapter in Tacoma, WA, and served the role of Interim President. As an advocate of LGBTQ+, Women in Security and larger community engagement as a whole, Erika brings a passion, commitment and strong understanding of how to protect your data securely. In her spare time, Erika is finishing her PhD in Cybersecurity.

Kat Robison is a self-proclaimed privacy nerd who loves a good challenge. She currently leads the Privacy Office at Nike, where she advises on employee privacy globally and supports the innovation teams that bring Nike’s future to life. Kat joined Nike in 2015 after spending many years in law firms, big and small, where she handled information security and privacy matters for some of Silicon Valley’s hottest startups. Although a California native, Kat was happy to leave the congestion of the golden state behind for the (literally) greener pastures of the Pacific Northwest.
