Event description
Experience the two-day Dare to Lead™ program and become Dare to Lead™ Trained. We will integrate key concepts from Daring Classrooms.

About this Event

This training program is not just for leaders with a title or position, but anyone looking to step out with courage or greater courage in any area of their professional as well as personal life.

Leadership is not about titles or the corner office. It’s about the willingness to step up, put yourself out there, and lean into courage. The world needs braver leaders, in and out of the classroom.

Teachers are some of our most important leaders.

We can’t always ask our students to take off the armor at home, or even on their way to school, because their emotional and physical safety may require self-protection. But what we can do, and what we are ethically called to do, is create a space in our schools and classrooms where all students can walk in and, for that day or hour, take off the crushing weight of their armor, hang it on a rack, and open their heart to truly being seen.

Date :

September 24th : 8:00 am - 4:00 pm

September 25th : 8:00 am - 4:00 pm

Venue : Lotte City Hotel Gimpo Airport, Seoul, South Korea

Registration: $ 750 per participant

About Dare to Lead™ and Brené Brown:

Dare to Lead™ is a two day skills based curriculum based on research to support brave leaders in your organisation who want to build courageous cultures.

Based on the research of Dr. Brené Brown, Dare to Lead™ is an empirically based courage-building program designed to be facilitated by organizational development professionals.

The most significant finding from Brené’s latest research is that courage is a collection of four skill sets, that are teachable, measurable, and observable.

1. Rumbling with vulnerability : How to lean in to risk, uncertainty and emotional exposure.

2. Living into our Values : Identifying our core values and the gap between our desired values and our behaviour.

3. Braving Trust : How trust is built and destroyed in organisations.

4. Learning to Rise : learning to bounce back (learning whilst failing).

The Dare to Lead™ program focuses on developing these courage-building skills through workshops, trainings, and coaching to help individuals, teams, and organizations move from armored leadership to daring leadership.

The 2 Day training course involves :

- Facilitation of topics above by Jolene Lockwood

- Participative and interactive sessions with participants on topics above.

- Practice exercises from the official ‘Dare to Lead™Workbook’

- Short Videos from Brene Brown on topics to be followed by group discussions.

Successful completion includes:

* Participation in the 16-hour Dare to Lead program

* Certificate of completion

* Dare to Lead Trained badge for a LinkedIn account.
