Dare to Lead™ | April 2 - 3, 2020 | Virtual Facilitation
Event Information
About this Event
Lean into tough conversations, build resilience after failure and create an environment of trust and collaboration.
Daring leaders are self-aware, know how to have hard conversations, hold themselves and others accountable, lead with empathy and connection, take smart risks that lead to innovation, reset quickly after disappointments and setbacks, and, give and receive feedback - especially when it's tough.
Based on the research of Dr. Brené Brown, Dare to Lead™ is an empirically based courage-building program, a “skill-based playbook for leaders.” This is an investment in you and your leadership. After completing this training, you’ll be equipped to bring back these courage building tools to your company, organization and team. Courageous leaders create brave, trusting, engaged cultures.
- Learn how to create a safe and meaningful culture
- Create teams that take risks based on courage and trust
- Learn the key components of brave leadership
- Commit to bringing your whole heart to work each day
- Be equipped to operationalize your core values
- Learn to give more meaningful feedback to your team
This course provides an opportunity to learn and practice these skills with a community of others devoted to changing the world of work. This is a highly interactive class, with group discussions, silent reflections, active exercises (where we move around the room), small group discussions, and videos. Class size will be between 12-30 people.
Who is this for?
Anyone wanting to bring more courage to the classroom, boardroom, or living room. It is applicable for informal and formal leaders at all levels: frontline leaders, mid-level managers, and executives. Educators, technologists, students, clergy, manufacturers, military veterans, first responders, human resource professionals, healthcare professionals, engineers, non-profit personnel, business owners, and entrepreneurs have all benefited from this course and you can too.
