Event description

Description

Join Mrs. Barby Frankenberry, Curator General, and the DAR Museum staff to learn about the programs offered at the DAR Museum. This workshop is intended to provide you the tools to advocate for the DAR Museum in your state. We will dive into the expectations of the Correspondent Docent program, review the Portable Education Programs, and enjoy behind-the-scenes tours of collection storage and the period rooms.

We invite, and encourage, all Museum Outreach Chairs to attend this event. As the point-of-contact for DAR Museum inquires in your state, Museum Outreach Chairs are the best equipped to distribute museum updates and information. If you cannot attend, please try to appoint a representative who can collect information for your region. Correspondent Docents are also welcome!
