DAP - Columbia: Listen. Talk. Learn. Community Session
Tue, March 7, 2017, 5:30 PM – 7:30 PM CST
Our communities are changing, as we are discovering a need to address serious divides surfaced by events that divide us. Diversity Awareness Partnership - Columbia is committed to strengthening our community by facilitating important and difficult discussions on race, unconscious bias, and awareness.
We hope that members of our community work toward a more inclusive Columbia by actively listening and talking to one another and learning about perspectives different than our own.
To that end, Diversity Awareness Partnership, and corporate partner Shelter Insurance, will offer a session on Tuesday, March 7, to convene leaders and members of the community, so that we can start our collective process.
Any individual or group interested in having a constructive dialogue related to race, racism, unconscious bias, and disempowerment are encouraged to register for this session.
What are my transport/parking options getting to the event?
To get to the Training Center from the West Broadway entrance, take the drive that runs down the right side (east side) of the Shelter Insurance Home Office.
The Training Center and parking lot will be on the right side of the drive.
