Etherton Gallery is pleased to present an exhibition highlighting the career of documentary photographer Danny Lyon. Throughout his career Lyon has made great images that forge connections with the past and the future, immersing himself in the lives of his subjects and photographing them with compassion, capturing the tumultuous early days of the Civil Rights movement, the freedom of life on the road with the Chicago Outlaws motorcycle club, the leveling of lower Manhattan to make way for the World Trade Center, and more. Danny Lyon: Present Future opens with a reception at 7 – 10 pm, Saturday June 10, 2017. Signed books will be available. The show runs through August 31st.
