DANITY KANE

Danity Kane is a multi-platinum, international, chart topping, independent female music group. The group originally formed on MTV's hit series Making the Band and signed to Bad Boy/Atlantic Records in 2005 under the direction of Sean "Diddy" Combs. With radio hits like "Showstopper" and "Damaged," they proved their talents as legitimate industry artists. Their freshman and sophomore albums "Danity Kane" and "Welcome to the Dollhouse" both debuted at #1 on the Billboard Top 200 chart. Danity Kane became the first female group in Billboard's history to consecutively debut albums at #1, placing them in the Guinness Book of World Records. After reuniting in 2014 their independent self-titled Junior album “DK3” went #1 on Billboard US top Album Chart.

Dumblonde

Dumblonde is an independent alternative Dance/Pop duo created by singer/songwriters Aubrey O'Day and Shannon Bex formerly of the multi- platinum, international, chart topping female group Danity Kane. The girls were discovered on the hit MTV show "Making the Band", and grew to be noted in the Guinness Book of World Records for being the only girl group to have two number one consecutive albums on Billboard. In their ten years sharing the stage these two formed an unbreakable bond while touring the world with many artists, including opening for the Black Eyed Peas, Backstreet Boys, and Christina Aguilera. Their indie pop debut has strong dance and alternative influences. The combination of their iconic blonde appeal, transcendent harmonies and powerful stage presence is a style unique only to Dumblonde. Their self titled visual album released in September 2015. Debuting at #1 on Billboards“Heatseekers” Chart and #1 on iTunes Dance Charts.

Since the release of Blackheart, Richard has been receiving critical acclaim from Fact Magazine, New York Times/LA Times, and Billboard. Many are saying that this is her best work yet. Andrew Ryce of Pitchfork gave the album an 8 out of 10 saying, “Blackheart is the singular, visionary work that she’s been hinting at since she struck out on her own post-Diddy in 2011.” Alex Macpherson of Fact Magazine called Blackheart astonishing and gave the album 4.5 out of 5 stars. Blackheart peaked #1 on iTunes Electronic charts and Top 20 overall on the iTunes album charts. In addition to that, Blackheart charted as #1 on the U.S. Top Independent Albums chart on Billboard, #2 on the Billboard Electronic/Dance chart, and #3 on the U.S. Top Heatseekers chart – with no major label push (completely independent). To accompany the album, Richard released a black and white animation visual on VEVO titled “Tide: The Paradox Effect”, which is also available on iTunes. Since the album’s release, Richard has also unveiled seven additional visuals for songs from Blackheart via VEVO and iTunes. Dawn currently has nine music videos to date for this album.
