Thank you so much to the 450 + people who came to run the race with us this past Saturday April 9, 2016! Your spirit made the day warm! The fellowship was great! Thank you to our 80 volunteers and 8 other committee members that made the day run smoothly for our guests. A big thank you to Agape PT for sponsoring our tshirts. BMW of Rochester, Fox Family and Carribean Services for sponsoring our overall winners cash prizes! Without each of you it would have been impossible to raise $11000 for Golisano Children's Hospital by December 2016! We were blessed by each of your presence, the kindness shared and the memories made. With your help we will honor Daniel by helping families with children battling life threatening illnesses. You can still donate or purchase merchandise.
This family 5K event is held on a
USATF Certified road course and timed professionally.
All proceeds will be donated to a charity that assists kids with a life threatening illness and their family.
You are welcome to wear a Daniel's Race Shirt
and join our team at the stroll in June!

When & Where
This race was begun by Greg Selke to assist our family in providing cutting edge treatment for our son, Greg's friend, Daniel Myslivecek. Daniel was diagnosed with Stage 4 Melanoma in May 2004 and in April 2006 Greg held our 1st annual 5K to help pay for the cost of treatments. Daniel ran the first 5K and finished despite being in the middle of a clinical trial for adults.
Come join us in celebrating The Race called LIFE!
"24 Do you not know that in a race all the runners run, but only one gets the prize? Run in such a way as to get the prize. 25 Everyone who competes in the games goes into strict training. They do it to get a crown that will not last, but we do it to get a crown that will last forever. 26 Therefore I do not run like someone running aimlessly; I do not fight like a boxer beating the air. 27 No, I strike a blow to my body and make it my slave so that after I have preached to others, I myself will not be disqualified for the prize."
