Event description
Emotional CPR (eCPR) Training to Assist Others and Ourselves in Emotional Distress

About this Event

What is eCPR?

Emotional CPR (eCPR) helps people gain a sense of power, meaning and hope. It is an educational program to assist others and ourselves in emotional distress through three simple steps:

Connecting, emPowering and Revitalizing

Participants will learn and practice the key concepts involved in effectively transforming distress into healing. In addition, eCPR improves everyday communication by bringing more colors and contours to our world. eCPR is useful for the general public, community workers, family members, first responders, teachers and others. No previous training is necessary. eCPR is culturally informed as it is being practiced in 10 different countries.

One eCPR attendee shared, "It was one of the most profound experiences I have ever had. This is the kind of work I want to be doing to build community. It is a transformative process." Another said, "It brought life and sparkle back to me."
