Dance4Healing Halloween Closing Party Fundraiser

We’re having a Halloween fundraiser/closing party on Oct 31, 2015 at the beautiful Bay Club Cupertino to celebrate with our patients who successfully completed our fall 2015 program. What could be a better way to spend Halloween by cheering for our brave awesome Dance4Healing cancer patients and dancing with us? We’re having an action-packed three-hour party with dance lessons, performances, speakers, silent auction, raffle and more. We’ll also be having a potluck, so bring something healthy and tasty to share. Your donation will include tickets to our fundraiser party! Come dance with us in your most sexy fun costumes and share some love! :)

Please invite your friends and family to join us on our Facebook event

This event celebrates the launch of our crowdfunding campaign on Indiegogo Life. We will be launching the page on Oct 31st. We have been told we need to raise 30% of our goal in the first 48 hours, please donate as soon as we launch to help us gain that first momemtum that is crucial to help us run a successful campaign. The link will not be live until October 31st, but in the meantime take a peek at this link to preview all the cool perks we offer for donations:

Your donation will make a huge difference in helping these cancer patients get through the most difficult challenge of their lives. Our program is currently 100% volunteer-based, and as you know this is very difficult to sustain. Your money will help us:

  • Continue to provide this program to cancer patients for FREE, and you can help us save a few lives.
  • Edit our class videos so that we can put them up on our virtual dance platform, where our patients can dance on their own time. Patients are usually homebound due to safety concerns and compromised immune systems, preventing access to public gyms and venues triggering isolative depression.
  • Create a documentary on the healing power of music and dance. Despite many published research papers and astounding number of diseases that can benefit from music and dance, they are very underutilized. We need to raise public awareness on how dance can be one of the most cost-effective and fun way of healing.

If you'd like to wait until our campaign launch to donate, you can choose "Show other payment options" to pay at the door instead.

Please RSVP to attend and check in at the front desk when you arrive. If you're a class participant who has officially registered for Dance4Healing (filled out a informed consent form), please remember to RSVP as a "Patient'. This helps us keep track of your weekly progress.

For Patients, please fill out the weekly survey online before coming to class on Saturday: http// If you don't have the time to fill out the form before class, please plan to arrive a little earlier to fill out the form so that we'll have more time for dancing!

Class Guidelines:

  • Please arrive to class on time. Understandably, there will be times when you might be late. If so, out of respect for the students and instructor, please enter quietly.
  • For attire, please wear comfortable exercise clothes and shoes to class.
  • Please do not apply perfume, scented oils or lotions just prior to attending class. Some students have odor sensitivites and/or allergies.
  • Remember to bring a water bottle so that you can stay hydrated throughout class!
  • Please bring in your laptop if you'd like some help with setting up the virtual platform for next Wednesday's live virtual class.
