About this event
Join Dance NOW! Miami to explore and engage with Rafael Domenech’s assembling beneath a desire for sabotage. This immersive dance theater piece will invite the audience to follow the performers as they activate the chambers of the installation, compartmentalizing and deconstructing the architecture of the space while taking the observers on a journey of self-discovery and rebirth.

About the organizer
Since 1998 Locust Projects has hosted over 150 exhibitions of more than 350 artists, and welcomed over 10,000 annual visitors to its current space in the Design District to see newly commissioned projects by emerging and mid-career artists who are encouraged to use their 2-8 week residency at Locust to experiment and expand their practice. We offer artists the space, budget, and public platform to create adventurous new site-specific work and the opportunity to engage in open dialogue with the public about their creative process while they are in residence. Locust’s 5,000 square-foot, warehouse-like space features a large Main Gallery, a Project Room and a Mobile Studio/R+D Lab in our window-front space available to a rotating roster of local artists, designers and curators to use as a co-working space. Locust Projects exhibitions can exist nearly anywhere an artist’s imagination takes them including beyond the interior galleries, onto our exterior walls, rooftop and windows.
