Dan Fitzgerald of Brack Mountain Wine Co. in Sonoma County, Monday April 3, 6:00PM
Brack Mountain Wine Co. is a family-owned winery dedicated to making artisan, small production wines that offer value to our customers. They embrace new ideas along with time-tested techniques and strive to define what a “next generation” winery can be. Located in the Russian River Valley near Sebastopol, California, Dan Fitzgerald, head of the winemaking team, is committed to producing elegant wines that reflect their region, vineyards and climate. Dan lived in Europe for 13 years. This Old World frame of reference developed his affinity for delicately balanced, lower alcohol wines. He began his winemaking career in 2002 in the Dry Creek Valley of Sonoma County, not far from Brack Mountain’s Enos Estate Vineyards. Not content to make wine just once a year, Dan worked back-to-back harvests in two hemispheres over three years. He’ll be bringing his Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay, Rosé, Pinot Noir and Red Blend from Sonoma and we’ll be cooking whole sides of salmon, roasted quail and pork tenderloin. We’ll finish the night with mixed berry bread pudding, Chantilly cream and crème anglaise. $79.
