Dan Berggren is a tradition-based songsmith with Adirondack roots who writes with honesty, humor and a strong sense of place. Rooted in mountain tradition and enviro-awareness, his songs explore the many dimensions of home, hard-working folks, taking care of our planet and each other - and Dan weaves them all together with humor and stories of community.
This concert celebrates Earth Day and his 50th year of performing, with over 20 albums of traditional and fresh acoustic folk under his belt. As author and activist Bill McKibben says, "Dan is a throwback to the old role of the folk singer . . . he's articulating things that need to be said right now."
