Inspired by the Dallas Chocolate Festival? Looking to take your love of chocolate to the next level? Join us for a pair of hands-on chocolate workshops and have fun learning with professional instruction. Both workshops take place at Perfect Temper Kitchen event space and commercial rental kitchen in Plano. These are serious classes in a serious kitchen, taught by working chefs, but will be fun and suitable for all skill levels.
The Bean-to-Bar Chocolate Making Workshop from 10:00 am until noon will be taught by an amazing pair of American chocolate makers: Ben Rasmussen of Potomac Chocolate and local chocolate maker Troy Easton of Sublime Chocolate.
The Chocolate Workshop from 1:00 pm until 3:00 pm will be led by Wiseman House Chocolate's Kevin Wenzel. Titled, "Don't Loose Your Temper With Chocolate," the hands-on class will teach you a no fail way to prepare chocolate for dipping and molding. You will also experience preparing ganache for chocolate truffles. You will take home what you prepare.
