DALE AND THE ZDUBS

FACEBOOK | WEBSITE

A fresh rock-reggae groove is flowing out of the nation’s capital, and their name is Dale and the ZDubs. A distinct reggae influence intertwined with a hard hitting rock style, DZD’s songs tell raw and oftentimes ridiculous stories. High-energy live shows feature multi-part vocal harmonies, along with thick guitar driven melodies. And sometimes Dale gets naked. DZD’s absolute obsession with performing live is the catalyst of their 150+ show dates a year all across the country. The most recent studio album, Tuna, produced by Jim Ebert (Everclear) and Jason “Jocko” Randall (John Brown’s Body), is streaming everywhere.

HIGHER EDUCATION

FACEBOOK | WEBSITE

Higher Education is a band forged in the fires of brotherly love. Spawned by Danny and Petey Devaney's love of music they have gone from a local favorite of the DMV to playing nationally at festivals and venues, leaving their indelible mark of love and celebration in each area they visit.

Their genre blending sound of rock, reggae, and psychedelic jams bring forward a message of community, love and introspection while still firmly rooted in the idea that this life can be one big party. Ignoring the confines of genre has given the band the ability to connect with their listeners, building a community that inhabits a better world.

The Devaney brothers together with Bradley Wilson on drums and Chris Haddad on lead guitar have created a musical wonderland for their listeners. Bringing to life soul stirring vocals, infectious guitar riffs and booty shaking rhythms their music offers an education for a higher realm.

Where do I park?

Bright Box is located at 15 N. Loudoun St. on the beautiful pedestrian mall in Old Town Winchester. The nearest parking is the Braddock Auto Park at 30 N Braddock St. This is about a block away from the venue. The parking garage does have several handicap parking spaces available.

Once you've parked in the garage you'll exit toward the pedestrian mall. Once you hit N. Loudoun you'll make a right and Bright Box will be on your right a few storefronts up, directly across from the Old Court House Civil War Museum

More information about the garage can be found here: https://www.winchesterva.gov/parking/garage-information

Is Bright Box handicap accessible?

Absolutely. The venue is handicap accessible and ADA compliant. The infrastructure in Old Town Winchester is friendly toward those with physical challenges or in wheelchairs. Park in one of the close-by parking garages and come to the main door at 15 N. Loudoun St. (the walking mall). We ask that you arrive when doors open, and we will be happy to escort you to a place best suited to your needs in the theater or to take you to the elevator to access the upstairs Out of the Box room.
