Baton Rouge, LA
JUNE 15, 2013
DOWNTOWN BATON ROUGE
The Inaugural Daddy, Daughter & Son relay will start and finish on 4th Street between Convention and North Boulevard in downtown Baton Rouge. Pre and post-race activity will be staged from City Plaza at 445 North Boulevard. See map at right for location or click here for complete map. Relay start is scheduled for 8:30 a.m. The event course will close at 10:30 a.m.
Relay Format: Each team member runs one loop of the two mile relay wearing their team “necktie”. Teams can bring their own necktie or BRASF will supply your team with a tie. Runners can complete the event in any order but each team member must complete one 2 mile loop. Strollers: Each stroller division runner (single or double) must run one, 2 mile loop only.
All relay team members must be registered at the same time. Registration for each member of your team includes race t-shirt, disposable chip timing, and post-race food and drinks. Adult and youth size t-shirts are available. Shirts are guaranteed for all registrations received by June 9, 2013. Registrations completed after June 9 are not guaranteed t-shirts.
Awards will be presented to winners in each of the following "age groups." "Age groups" are determined by adding the age of each member of your team together. For example, a parent (46 years old) with two kids (14 and 10), would total 70 and therefore will fall into the 61-80 division for the 3 person relay. Awards will be given to winners of each relay race (2 person, 3 person, 4 person) in each "age group." Age Groups: Under 40, 41-60, 61-80, 81-100, 101-120, 120+ Stroller division awards will be given to winners in the single and double stroller categories only.
Thank you to all our age group sponsors!
