Welcome to a night of Dinner, Conversation, Community, and DANCE! This event will be a community gathering to celebrate Pride Month, talk about Parivar Bay Area's Community Offerings, engage with community members, dance and have a good time!
ParivarBayArea believes in creating spaces that uplift, center and protect Trans Gender expansive folx everywhere, particularly Global South API Trans Immigrants and Refugees. Creating a space at Daawat, we invite you to join us in powerfully welcoming all of our friends and chosen family in community who support our grassroots work .
We invite you to an evening of an elaborate Indian dinner buffet perfectly complemented by culturally diverse queer trans performances along with sharing our queer trans stories of resilience, courage and celebration from our communities of our journey as ParivarBayArea almost reaches a milestone of being around for 5 years in 2024.
Doors open at 6pm and program begins at 7pm, after a reception mixer.

Seekh Keebab - Spiced lamb rolls prepared over a charcoal fire
Hariyali Tikka -Chicken barbecued in a tangy mint and cilantro marinade, Served with Mint and Tamarind Chutney
Murg Akbari - An exotic preparation of chicken with cashews and raisins, Simmered in a blend of mild spices
Karahai Gosht- A flavorful Lamb curry cooked in North Indian spices
Paneer Makhani- House made paneer cooked in tomato cream sauce and seasoned with fenugreek leaves
Alu Palak-Spinach cooked with potatoes and seasoned with garlic
Kali Dal New Delhi-Slow simmered black Lentils with Ginger and Tomatoes
