Join us for a quick dive into the CYNEFIN model and accessible ways that it can help individuals and groups work with complexity.
Cynefin, pronounced kuh-nev-in, is a Welsh word that signifies the multiple factors in our environment and our experience that influence us in ways we can never understand. The framework was originally developed in 1999 in the context of knowledge management and organisational strategy by David Snowden. Since then, it has been adapted by system thinkers and Art of Hosting practitioners to help groups work in complexity.
Trainers Kelly McGowan, Going Upstream, and Allen Frimpong, BCT Partners, and will provide an accessible overview of the model grounded in examples of how they use it in national capacity building and strategy development.
