About Cyclista Zine

A submission - based social justice compilation of perspectives and stories of BIPOC and FTW’s folx in cycling.

Cyclista Zine was created with a call and intent to shed light on lack of inclusion of underrepresented communities in cycling and to disrupt cycling media outlets and mainstream narratives of cycling. Cyclista Zine is meant to function as a bridge between virtual safe spaces and in person activism for the current and future generations to explore cycling their own way.

Our first issue, “Our Bikes, Our Stories” explores what it means to create “space” in cycling through community, virtual spaces, mainstream media, cycling history, bike-packing, politicized bodies, wrenching, travel, and advocacy.

Come to mingle, meet the zine team, enjoy nibbles and good vibes.
