CycLicking is joining Dawes Arboretum in celebrating their annual food truck festival on Friday August 21st. In its second year, this event boasts a variety of cuisine for purchase from local food trucks and a selection of beverages from Ohio breweries and wineries, all in a beautiful setting that only The Arboretum can provide. Musical entertainment, a special children's area and a peek at how Arboretum staff and program participants are utilizing their green thumbs to grow produce for a local food bank, add to the atmosphere
Special for CycLIcking riders, the arboretum will staff a bike corral. If you ride your bike to the event you will be given free parking in the corral, thereby waiving the $5 parking fee. The first group will leave from Heath High School at 3:30 and travel down the Buckeye Scenic multi-use trail to Davis Rd. From there we will enter the Arboretum via service drive from Davis Rd. where we will make our way to the corral and festival. With enough interest we will host a second group at 5:30 leaving from Heath High School traveling the same route. Please register for the 3:30 or 5:30 group when you sign up. This will let us gauge the number of people in each group.
