Over 2,000 people turned up to our event in April and the atmosphere was fantabulous - bike utopia you could say... This time there will be a best dressed bike competition, a "poet in motion", bikes of all shapes and sizes and a few suprises along the way. Dr Bike will be back again to offer FREE onsite maintenance.
Circular Road will be CAR FREE for the whole morning and our event runs from 9am to 12pm. The main route starts at the junction with Ivywell road and finishes at Ladies Mile (with a turning point). This time the roads leading from Stoke Rd to the junction with Ivywell Rd will also be closed to through traffic to assist a relaxed arrival!
By signing up on Eventbrite and indicating your intended arrival time, you will be helping us to manage and run the event safely, for example staggering arrivals and knowing how many stewards we will need on the day.
What are my transport/parking options for getting to the event?
If you live near the Downs, please either cycle, or walk and push your bikes to the event.
If you are coming from further away, it would brilliant if you could try and park your car a short distance from the Downs (Westbury Park/Henleaze NOT Sneyd Park if possible!) and cycle/walk the last bit.
Where can I contact the organiser with any questions?
You can email us on email@example.com or send us a tweet @cyclesunday or join our facebook group Cycle Sunday (http://ow.ly/L3X3A) if you want to share your experiences of cycling with kids or comment on the Cycle Sunday event...
Is my registration/ticket transferrable?
Yes because family life is unpredictable – please come earlier or later – we just want to see you!
Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?
Not at all – save paper, just bring yourselves. We won’t be checking tickets. But DO sign up. It takes less than a minute...
