Leveraging many years of effort working on the Internet of Things (IoT), CyberTECH has developed the Securing the Smart City Forum focusing on the state of Smart & Safe Cities, best practices, the cultural aspects of creating safe cities, including elements of Smart Cities and IoT and the impacts of connecting wearables, “liveables” and “driveables” to the Internet to form smart cities.
We believe a “digital” city cannot be “smart” if the things it connects to the network and other open networks are vulnerable to cyber attack or lack basic user privacy or product safety. Join us during RSA 2017 as we discuss the need for Smart Cities to build in security and privacy by design.
For additional information including the program agenda and sponsorship opportunities visit http://cybertechnetwork.org/ssc/.
Registration for the Securing the Smart City Forum will begin at 1:00 PM with a 1:30 PM start time on the 3rd floor of the Elan Event Venue. The forum will conclude at 6:00 PM followed by the CyberTECH and IOActive Network Reception on the 1st floor from 6:00 - 9:00 PM.
IMPORTANT: ALL ATTENDEES MUST REGISTER TO BE ADMITTED INTO THE ELAN EVENT VENUE.
