About this event

Cybersecurity has evolved from the server room to the boardroom. It is now a top concern for CEOs around the world, and for good reason. Attackers are motivated, whether by money or politics. They are quicker, smarter, and don't play by the rules. How do we as leaders in this space adapt and outpace? We pivot from a “Peacetime” to “Wartime” mindset. We stop asking, "Are we secure?" and start asking, "Are we ready?"

This panel discussion between seasoned wartime experts from the DoD, FBI, US Secret Service, and the private sector will cover:

  • peacetime vs wartime leadership
  • levers and impacts of cyber attacks
  • actions we can take to address risks today and prepare for tomorrow
  • how to collaborate with law enforcement

Panelists will share their experiences in the field, offering advice on how to be prepared and the costs and consequences of not following best practices. Attendees will leave with a firm understanding of the importance of having company defenses in place, training like you fight, and how collaboration with law enforcement contributes to better cyber-attack outcomes and greater homeland security.

Panelists:

  • Monti Knode - VP Customer Success, Horizon3.ai (moderator)
  • Brad Carpenter - Supervisory Special Agent, FBI Cyber Division
  • Alex Shulman - Managing Director - Cloud Security Practice Leader, Americas, EY
  • TBD - U.S. Secret Service
  • TBD - U.S. Department of Defense

Includes drinks and dinner at the Ernst & Young LLP Americas and US Headquarters.
