With increased threats posed by intentional hacking and the risks of unintentional accidents, cyber-security capabilities are vitally important for every organization. The data breaches at leading firms, such as Equifax, Deloitte and Yahoo, also show that cyber-security challenges are widespread and increasingly complex. This session will include a short lecture on current-state cyber-security practices in industry, live case-studies facilitated by expert panelists from BPM and open discussion, Q&A and networking with leading industry professionals.

Ross Millerick, MS, Director of MS in IT Management

Ross has worked in Information Technology for 30 years leading company transformations to modern technology systems. During this time IT has become important in wider and wider areas of business. His cross-industry work has covered many business areas. Systems work includes delivering data center and transaction systems for multiple industries including credit card processing, retail e-commerce systems, truck routing delivery and pickup services and IT financial audits systems.

He earned a Master of Science in Environmental Engineering from University of California, Berkeley
