Description
Come and join the Cyber Security Club for their last event of the year. Topics for this event include a presentation on Professional Conduct, a presentation from the Cyber Security Club's teams, and peer advising for CCSF students.
Topic 1: What is professional conduct and why is it important?
When you hear the words "professional conduct" you should immediately think of ethics, morals, and standards of behavior that is considered acceptable for the workplace. As a student or entry-level tech professional, you should maintain an ethical behavior and professional conduct at all times, which includes your behavior on social media and how you interact outside of the workplace.
Presentation and discussion on Professional Conduct will be given. You will learn several approaches and methods to help you navigate through your first years as a tech professional.

Register in CNIT 11 at City College of San Francisco to build and polish your professional profile.
Topic 2: Overview of Cyber Security Club's teams & projects. Hear from current teams such as the Web Dev Team and what they have accomplished so far this semester. Next semeser the club will be building out more teams for students to collaborate and gain hands-on trainings. Students can choose from the following teams: web development, Cisco networking and server administration, Capture the Flag competitions, and how to integrate business operations with cyber security such as compiance, risk, data migration and more.
Register in CNIT 11 at City College of San Francisco to join a team and work on real world projects.
Topic 3: The Cyber Security club is offering peer advising to students who are looking for academic and job pathways. We will have CNIT instructors, currnt students and alumnis, and a Career Specialist on-site to offer advice and guidance on coursework, certifications/degree paths, and job opportunitiies.
