“A Discussion on Cyber-Safety and Awareness” with Peter D. Lee, FBI San Francisco Community Outreach Division

Tuesday, February 12, 2013, 7:00 – 8:30 p.m.

Parents and students are invited to join Peter D. Lee from the Federal Bureau of Investigation’s (FBI) San Francisco Community Outreach division for an open community conversation on digital/cyber-safety and awareness.

The program promotes cyber citizenship and awareness by helping parents and students learn how to safely and responsibly use the Internet. The FBI’s Safe Online Surfing (SOS) program emphasizes the importance of cyber safety topics such as password security, smart surfing habits, cyber bullying, online predators, social networking sites, and the safeguarding of personal information. Pete Lee will also discuss the appropriate use of cell phones and gaming devices.
