Description

The European Parliament Liaison Office and the Representation of the European Commission in the Netherlands would like to invite you to our event Cyber Democracy.

Cyber security has been at the top of the political agenda in recent years. External interference in elections through social media, the threats and opportunities of digital voting and new technologies such as blockchain have sparked a public debate in the Netherlands and other EU Member States, especially in light of the upcoming European elections. Join us on 5 February and discuss these and other topics with speakers from the European Commission, European Parliament, Dutch Electoral Council, ProDemos, Embassy of Estonia to the Netherlands and the private sector.
