Cyanotypes: Everything you want to know
Date and time
An immersive educational experience on Cyanotypes presented by Laura Ciriaco and Luis Santana of LALU studio - hosted by PHOTODOM NYC.
About this event
Photodom NYC is excited to host the first introductory course to cyanotypes presented by Laura Ciriaco and Luis Santana of LALU Studio. This alternative printing process is a unique practice dating back to the 1800s. It has over time developed into a means of expression, creative visual art method, and form of textile design. We will discuss the important elements of cyanotypes, learn about the necessary materials and how to source them, and lastly - create our very own prints!
At LALU, our goal is to cultivate a keen interest into the various worlds that the creative arts have to offer. We aim to connect, educate, and inspire. Our core belief is that no one should feel limited because of the lack of resources available to them. We are continuously evolving our passion to spread knowledge through educational workshops, documentary projects, event production, etc.
