Schedule: 5 daily sessions, Monday thru Friday, for one week

Class size: 16 students maximum

Pre-Requisites: Ages 11-13yo (rising middle school students)

Tuition: $275

We are excited to be offering a variety of coaches and curriculum content that work online, for beginners to advanced student improvisors. Join us online and "Zoom" into action as we come together to learn the art of improvisation! Use Zoom to improvise with students virtually from all over the Bay Area and the U.S. (maybe even the world!) Practice your acting, storytelling and comedy skills by playing improv games, creating improv scenes, and learning improv formats online. Get ready to act in a performance showcase where you have no clue what your part is and have to make it up as you go. If that idea makes you nervous and excited, then this week is for you! Invite your family and friends to watch you perform on the last day.

Interested in playing with us for the whole summer? We’ve got Summer Passes available that will allow you to sign up for any or all of our summer sessions at your age level for one price! (See tickets for more info!)

About Dana Cory:

Dana Cory is an alumna of BATS Improv. Before discovering theater improv, she improvised jazz professionally as a multi-instrumentalist/vocalist and has been joyfully combining both forms of improvisation for over 20 years. Her career includes creating engaging curriculum for kids of all ages, and training other educators to work with families and children.

In addition to BATS, Dana directs and teaches improv at Leela Theater/SF, is a frequent guest cast member and director for the Un-Scripted Theater Company, and coaches and accompanies independent teams and troupes all over the Bay Area.
