ABOUT THE FEATURED SPEAKER:

For more than 50 years, Northwest Harvest has provided food to communities across Washington state. Northwest Harvest provides food to a statewide network of over 400 food banks, meal programs, and high need schools. Northwest Harvest is a food justice organization that strives to end hunger and address the root causes of hunger.

In November of 2022, our statewide distribution center in Yakima was opened on our 10.6-acre campus. The Fruitvale Community Market also located on the campus will open in the spring of 2023.

Amy Lopez has been with Northwest Harvest as the Community Engagement and Events Specialist since May of 2022. Before joining NWH she worked at the Greater Yakima Chamber of Commerce for several years. Her background is in the wine industry and project management. Some local organizations she’s been involved in include Leadership Yakima, New Leaders Yakima County and the Yakima Schools Foundation.
