Description

In partnership with Community Capital of Vermont, we are offering free QuickBooks training that can be taken as a full day course, or as separate workshops (select the appropriate option from the "select a time" drop-down field). Please join us for one or both workshops on Wednesday, August 1:

Workshop 1 (morning session): Introduction to QuickBooks | 9:00am to 12:30pm

The morning session is for participants new to QuickBooks accounting software, or those interested in a refresher. In this workshop we cover:

  • Chart of Accounts;
  • Creating Customers, Invoices, and Receiving Payments;
  • Creating Vendors, Entering Bills, Making Payments, and Printing Checks;
  • the Check Register; and lots of tips and tricks really helpful to know as you learn your way around QuickBooks.

Workshop 2 (afternoon session): Reconciliation, Taxes, and Reports | 1:45pm to 4:30pm

The afternoon session is for QuickBooks users who participated in the morning session, or already have some experience with QuickBooks and want to deepen and expand their skills. In this workshop, we cover:

  • Reconciling Your Bank Statement with QuickBooks;
  • Taxes: Sales, Use, and Rooms & Meals;
  • Running Reports;
  • Basics for Reading Your Financials.

Whether you are seeking a refresher or are a new user, register for either or both sessions. These hands-on workshops are delivered by QuickBooks ProAdvisor, David Parker and Business Advisor, Maggie Fox. Each participant will receive a complete QuickBooks manual.
