Event description

Description

Cuyahoga River Watershed Project Teacher Workshop: Cuyahoga Valley National Park is a project & place-based resource for educators.

Through our overnight park experience, educators from all disciplines will be immersed in learning best practices for integrating project as well as place-based education concepts into the classroom. Investigating some of Cuyahoga Valley National Park’s richest resources, educators will be exposed to the Cuyahoga River Watershed and how classroom projects can align with the park’s place-based resources.

  • Workshop delivered in partnership with Cleveland State University, Conservancy for Cuyahoga Valley National Park, and National Park Service.
  • Space is Limited to 25 overnight participants. Participants will stay at our beautiful Stanford House. (*Note: Overnight stay is encouraged but not required, please email amcgardy@forcvnp.org if you will not be able to stay overnight).
  • CEU certificates provided at the completion of the workshop.
  • Optional: Two Graduate Credit Hours provided by Cleveland State University (included in registration fee)
