Cuyahoga County Greenprint Training
Event Information
Description
The City of Rocky River is updating their Master Plan, and County Planning is offering a County Greenprint training session to complement that process. Participation is not restricted, and the session is open to residents of any community.
The County Greenprint is a great tool to assist nature and sustainability enthusiasts, as well as planners, service directors, city council persons, and interested citizens in planning for and protecting our greenspaces. Find out how the Cuyahoga County Greenprint can help with tree plantings, riparian setbacks, and other conservation strategies which enhance our natural quality of life.
Greenprint training sessions are open to all. Participants will learn how to use the mapping tool, access best practices and create basic customized maps. Visit our Greenprint training page for a complete list of training opportunities. For questions, contact Elaine Price at 216-443-3721 or eprice@cuyahogacounty.us.
In addition, County Planning created a video tutorial covering the basics of using the Greenprint. If you're planning to attend the training session, we recommend that you prepare by watching this training video as an introduction and orientation for the class.
