If they can't solve your problem or answer your question, then you go home with a problem, but you still got out of the house, so that's not a bad thing.

7:20PM - 7:30PM - Announcements

This is your time, assuming we have time. New to LA? Say Hello. Got a movie you want people to see? Tell us about it. Looking for a job? Tell us. Offering a job? Tell us.

7:30PM - 8:00PM - Finding (and Cutting) A Great Short Film - Misha Tennenbaum
As CEO of EditStock — an online service that provides uncut footage for people to practice editing with — Misha Tenenbaum spends most of his time doing two things: Finding new films for EditStock’s library and giving users feedback on their cuts. In this presentation, Misha shares what he’s learned through these two vital processes — including how bad films may have more to teach us than good ones do.
