Event description

Description

Austin 2030 is excited to present a session on cutting edge technologies for lighting, cooling towers, and building envelope. When your building is ready to select projects and implement solutions, what are experts recommending to get the best results?

This session is exclusively presented and hosted by Austin 2030 Professional Members!

Marc Migliozzi of EIS Lighting is a member of all three Texas Districts and helps clients statewide find hands-on lighting solutions, boasting thousands of dollars in savings annually. Lighting is often the first project selected for efficiency, and the technologies available continue to improve.

Peter Beland of Stepwell Water Consulting will present on a cutting-edge cooling tower technology that reduces both the amount of 'new' water utilized and the amount of chemicals used in the tower. Cooling towers represent a huge percentage of water consumption in commercial buildings in hot climates.

Our host, Studio8 Architects, will be represented by Jennifer Carter and Ethan Glass, discussing how they as designers and project managers work with their clients specify energy-conserving materials for exterior building envelopes.

This will be a wealth of great information about what's currently happening in our city - please join us!
