Description

This series of three workshops will help landowners better understand the “ins and outs” of a successful timber harvest in your woods.

Register for one, two, or all three workshops.

Each workshop will visit a different harvest on the Evans Tree Farm in Derby, Vermont.

Participants will gain increased understanding of how to set up a successful harvest. Discussion will span from contracts to silviculture and everything in between.

This is a free event. Pre-registration is required. Please select the number of people you would like to regsiter and select the date(s) you would like to attend.

February 24th, 1-3pm

Large Harvest Option: Visit active Cut-to-Length Mechanized Harvester working in a 150 acre harvest area.

March 3rd, 1-3pm

Medium Harvest Option: Visit local operator using a cable skidder in a 20 acre harvest area.

March 10th, 1-3pm

Small Harvest Option: Visit active horse logging operation working in 5 acre harvest area.
