Are you between the ages of 16 and 24 and looking for seasonal, part-time, or full-time employment this spring?

Coming to Pittsburgh, PA . . .

The Customer Service Academy ™ 2019!

This service-training program is designed to train youth and young adults for entry-level jobs in the service sector. Statistics show that over 90% of all the positions you qualify for are with service companies. We will provide you with entry-level service training, review your resume, teach you how to interview, teach you how to do online applications and then set you up with 3 – 5 interviews in one day!

Interview Day is Saturday, April 6, 2018, 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM

Early Registration and Mt. Ararat Mentoring & CTE Students $30.00.

Must complete Mt. Ararat Professional Development Academy Enrollment

The (25) Sponsored Scholarship slots are open to all students.



Gratitude Sunday, April 7th, is a day of success celebration and will be at

Rodman Street MBC, 6111 Rodman Street, Pittsburgh, PA 15206 at 9:45 a.m.

Academy training programs are limited to 100 participants and will be filled on a first come first served basis.

FAQs

Does the Academy guarantee you a job?

No, the Customer Service Academy does not guarantee you a job. We train you for the opportunity. We introduce you to the life values that account for what makes people successful in the workplace. We teach you how to model those values. We help you eliminate any visible reason an employer would have to tell you no. Then we prepare you for the interview day. The rest is up to you.

Can we recommend an employer we would like to interview with?

Yes! In fact, we encourage students to let employers who are not on our list know about the program. If you notify Academy organizers of a company where you want to work, we will provide that employer with an invitation to the interview day on your behalf! Our list of national and regional employers is growing daily and you can help expand that list!

Do I receive a certificate?

Yes. Academy graduates receive a framable CSA graduation certificate. To receive a certification students must meet the following guidelines...

1) Students must ATTEND every session. (no exceptions)
2) Students must be ON TIME for every session. (No exceptions)
3) Students must complete a 2-minute video describing their experience in the academy.
4) Students must participate in Gratitude Day Service or Do a Community Service Activity


If students do not comply with these guidelines, they MAY still be able to interview on interview day, But they will NOT receive a certificate.

Are there ID or minimum age requirements to enter the event?

Yes, the minimum age is 16 and the maximum age is 24. Please bring your state-issued photo identification to class the first day to verify your identity.

What are my transportation/parking options for getting to and from the event?

There is ample parking at the event. Please check your public transportation option to the training and to any potential employer where you would like to work.

What's the refund policy?

THERE ARE NO REFUNDS. However, registration is 100% Transferrable to another student.

Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?

Yes. Bring your ticket along with your state issued Identification. You may also provide a digital/electronic copy of your registration.

Is my registration fee or ticket transferrable?

Yes, you can transfer your seat to another student. Simply contact us in WRITING notifying the organizers that another student will be using your registration. This notification should have YOUR FULL NAME and the FULL NAME OF YOUR REPLACEMENT. THERE ARE NO REFUNDS.

Is it ok if the name on my ticket or registration doesn't match the person who attends?

Only if a prior WRITTEN notification has indicated that you will not be attending and someone else is using your registration.
