Custom Cool Rugs is hosting its third annual ‘Barefoot Benefit’ in support of GoodWeave on Thursday, August 29. Enjoy local Hamptons made delicacies created by the local chef Estelle Arlaud, cocktails and beverages from local distributors and live musical entertainment by the famous Escola De Samba
(Sag Main Beach Drummers) – all for a wonderful cause!
Highlights of the evening will include:
• Custom Cool’s annual rug raffle, proceeds of which go to GoodWeave, Custom Cool’s nonprofit partner who works tirelessly to end child labor in the textile industry.
• An exquisite auction where world renowned Hamptons based artists William Quigley, Warren Padula, Dan Rizzie, and Kryn Olson will raffle off rare, valuable, and authentic "Hamptons" products. The proceeds of this go to overlooked local tweens/teens with drug/alcohol dependencies.
This year, the rug raffle winner will get to design their own rug, choosing from any of Custom Cool's bright, bouncy rug designs (value of ~ $8,000) – perfect for any Hamptons home. (Certified child-labor-free by GoodWeave, handwoven in Nepal).
Entrance is $50 and includes one raffle ticket (valued at $25 each).
Other pricing options are as follows:
$100.00 - entry to event and two raffle tickets.
$150 - entry to event and three raffle tickets plus a VIP gift bag.
Raffle tickets are available to purchase online at the GoodWeave website: http://goodweave.org/index.php?cid=154&/ and at Custom Cool's store locations in Quogue and Sag Harbor.
When & Where
Custom Cool is a Hamptons based design company that produces luxury custom rugs and decorative accessories for the interior design market. All rugs are certified by GoodWeave, Custom Cool's nonprofit partner, ensuring they are made child-labor free.
This year is Custom Cool's third annual 'Barefoot Benefit' which has raised over 20k for GoodWeave over the past two years. This year, the winner of our benefit raffle will get to pick from any of Custom Cool's rug designs - customizing the colors and fibers to their liking. All the proceeds of this raffle go directly to GoodWeave in support of its tireless work to end child labor in the textile industry and to educate the children rescued from the looms in Nepal, India and Afghanistan.
In addition to the Custom Cool rug raffle, we are thrilled to have the tremendously talented and internationally recognized artists William Quigley and Warren Padula supporting this worthy event!
