Curry Canyon Upper 580 Property Tour
Sun, April 9, 2017, 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM PDT
Discover Save Mount Diablo’s flagship Curry Canyon Ranch property, home to diverse vegetative and geologic features. Keep your eyes to sky as we stroll along a combination of fire roads and single track trails – the chances of seeing native raptors are high, golden eagles being the prize for any birder.
Enjoy dramatic views of the east side of Mount Diablo and the regenerating Morgan Fire footprint. Learn about managing working landscapes in a warming climate and the conservation value of grazing in Contra Costa County. Be sure to dress in layers and wear sturdy boots or shoes; bring plenty of water, sunscreen and a snack. Heavy rain cancels.
