Share Current Practices of Maternal Behavioral Health - 2019

Event Details

The Department of Health and Human Services, Divisions of Public Health and Behavioral Health, will be offering the 4th annual Current Practices of Maternal Behavioral Health Conference onApril 9, 2019 in Lincoln, Nebraska. Past conferences have been highly popular with health professionals, and featured a slate of prominent national and state speakers.

Topics include: preventing and treating post-partum depression, opioid epidemic and perinatal mental health. 

NEW FOR 2019: We will have an optional preconference session on April 8th, 1-5pm on screening, brief intervention, and referral to treatment (SBIRT) for 3.75 contact hours. This session is sponsored by Mid-America ATTC. This session has a limited number of seats.

NOTE: You can register for both the preconference and conference sessions, or for either individually. Only select one ticket type.

This activity will be submitted to the Texas Nurses Association for approval for nursing continuing education.  Texas Nurses Association Approver is accredited with distinction as an approver of continuing nursing education by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation. This program also meets the criteria of an approved continuing education program for mental health practice and social work based on criteria outlined by the Board of Examiners in Mental Health Practice. You have to attend all sessions and complete the evaluation form in order to receive 7.25 contact hours.
