The event is FREE but with a suggested $18 USD donation to support Atlantic Pacific Theatre and its commitment to equitable and decolonized practices in all aspects of our programming. As a proud independent organization APT actively makes choices to evolve the means of production with a consciousness that aims to circumvent capitalistic gatekeeping while also evolving the practice of producing theatre/art away from colonial values. Over 60% of APT programming has been and continues to be free of charge and we are continuing to find ways to sustain and grow our work while keeping our values, integrity, and creative freedom.
ATLANTIC PACIFIC THEATRE is an independent theater company that creates theatre works, public history programs, and community-engaged social practice art experiences for and with communities of color. Through partnership-driven projects, APT aims to enhance visibility, awareness, and understanding around POC histories and identities in local and transnational contexts. The company's underpinning values of cross cultural exchange and pluralism center our work on polycultural experiences that reach across geographical and socially constructed borders.
