Curling on Tap - Forgotten Star Brewing

Join us for a fun, social introduction to curling at Forgotten Star Brewing! Whether you're a seasoned player or brand-new to the sport, this free event welcomes all ages and is the perfect way to laugh, learn and enjoy great beverages, food and community this winter.

Class will begin inside with a quick primer on scoring, strategy and all the quirky curling lingo—including why it’s called “chess on ice.” Then we’ll head outside to practice and play, so be sure to dress for the weather. Expect plenty of time for broomstacking (a.k.a. socializing, eating and drinking) with fellow attendees. It’s also a fun way to gear up for the 2026 Winter Olympics—learn the basics now so you can follow the action like a pro!

The session is led by local curler Jill Aitchison, owner of Curling Connections. Come experience one of the most welcoming, social sports around!
